About the friends

The President's Welcome

Communities are often measured by their cultural offerings, and in this respect, Longmont is fortunate. The Longmont Museum & Cultural Center is a jewel among the many outstanding arts and historical institutions along Colorado’s Front Range.

As the fund-raising arm of the Longmont Museum, the Friends provide financial and volunteer support for exhibits, lectures, concerts, and children’s programs. In recent months, the Friends have also provided matching funds for grants to the Museum’s annual Day of the Dead community celebration and exhibit, and funded the remarkably successful exhibition Ansel Adams & Edwin Land: Art, Science and Invention, completion of the exhibit Front Range Rising, and numerous university internships.

When you join the Friends, your gift not only supports the Longmont Museum but also enriches the culture of our community, educates our children, and preserves the rich history of the St. Vrain Valley.

I invite you to become a member of this vibrant group of Museum supporters by joining today!
